Blasted White Kataagari Plate 9.8"
Riso Porcelain's Blasted White Kataagari Plate takes its name from "kataagari" (片上がり), meaning "one side raised" in Japanese, a reference to the plate's gently asymmetric rim that slopes upward on one side. The "blasted" technique gives the surface a softly textured, matte white finish that feels considered without drawing attention away from whatever is plated on it. Clean in form and quiet in character, it brings a subtle distinctiveness to the table. Designed by Shinichi Terauchi, made in Arita, Japan.
