Forged by hand from a single sheet of aluminum, this oval plate carries the quiet, brushed surface that defines metal artist Yoshinori Nagashima's work, made in his Tokyo studio. Generously sized for the table, it works well for serving bread, cheese, or a small main, the lightweight metal making it as easy to pass around as it is to set down.

Note: each piece is hand-forged, so the texture and surface marks left from hammering are part of the piece, not a flaw.
